Thought I'd take a step back and look at who has most consistently been voted Man of the Match so far this season. Full disclosure, this was based on my hunch that Paolo Banchero, who is leading this team in scoring and rebounding and looking like a #1 pick, has never been voted Man of the Match. So far that is correct.

Note, there doesn't appear to have been an MOTM poll after the Elon game, though I suspect Trevor Keels would have won that poll. But in sum:
First Place Finishes: Moore (6), Keels (2), Williams (1), Griffin (1)
Second Place Finishes: Banchero (3), Moore (1), Williams (1), Roach (1), Griffin (1), Baker (1), Jones (1), Worthington (1)
Third Place Finishes: Banchero (2), Williams (1), Roach (1), Griffin (1), Baker (1), John (1)
Fourth Place Finishes: Keels (1), Roach (1)
Right now voting is underway for MOTM last night, and AJ Griffin is just edging out Banchero.
I suspect this is a lot like Coach of the Year voting, which weighs heavily on how much a candidate exceeds expectations. So just like Coach K is consistently the best, but never wins that award any more, I submit Banchero has been consistently excellent, but never recognized accordingly in these threads.
