    RIP Bob Dole

A heck of a life. Thank you for your service to the US beginning in World War II. Not in his political neck of the woods but never doubted his commitment to public service.

Sad but fitting to lose Bob and Norm so close to one another.

A man from a bygone era of politics, that's for sure.

A great man. He loved his country and served his country well and with great personal sacrifice.

And from an era when reaching across the aisle and working together happened. He will be missed.

Always enjoyed his wit when he was on The Tonight Show.

Agreed. A true statesman and American hero — whether you agreed with his politics or not.

That was my earlier point. I long for those days. Everything now is so fouled up.
