Downright awful second half. Bad shot selection, strange coaching decisions, some unfortunate calls. Just all around bad.

Hopefully they learned a hard lesson here about closing teams out on the road.

Not the best coaching job tonight. And not the best response to adversity by the players. Frustrating to lose a game we led by so much. But hopefully they learn from this one.

We didn't close. Prolly good for this team to experience.

But also felt like a home court ref job.

Yeah, lessons to learn for players and coaches tonight. Officiating left a lot to be desired but we have no one to blame but ourselves.

I agree with most of the previous statements. Duke got hosed on the refereeing. Keels is in a serious shooting slump.Ohio State was much better than Duke in the second half. We were good on defense, but you have to make some shots. Very stagnant half court offense.

I'm surprised we didn't call TO on the last offensive possession. Usually, K calls one there but didn't in this case for some reason. May or may not have made a difference but was noteworthy. Obviously poor offensive execution and shooting in the second half as well as foul trouble (and some rough calls...) did us in. Bummer.

    Well, dang.
Two weeks to learn some lessons and get back after it on the court.
And, if someone could develop a reliable 3pt shot in the meantime, it would help.

Joey Baker shies away in the moment, dude passed up so many open 3s to pass to a covered teammate.

Or even a reliable two-point shot. Any kind of shot that goes through the basket would be nice.

We have one of those in Wendell. More would be helpful.

    As a reminder

There are still some people who don’t think refs can impact the outcome of a game.

K needed to get t’d up this game.

I was calling for that, even toward the end of the first half.

Sometimes best to let them play it out on their own - to learn.

A learning experience- a hostile crowd and terrible referees.

It should prepare the team for ACC conference games.

Got the undefeated season pressure monkey off Duke’s back. 23 points scored in the 2nd half - gross!

12-16 from the line was good to see. Not sure if this team will be a great 3-point shooting team. 4-14 tonight (the last miss was a half court heave at the buzzer) for 28.6%.

Good game offensively for Moore, Jr. that was about it. Banchero looked a tick off most of the night except for the pretty scoop layup finger roll. Williams wasn’t bad offensively but he and Theo stayed in foul trouble. Griffin continues to primarily ride the pine pony. Roach was meh - 4-10 overall, 1-4 from 3. Keels continues to struggle shooting. He’s now 13-43 from 3 this year, 30.2%.

I hope Duke can learn some offensive execution lessons tonight about finishing games strong. They really went cold offensively down the stretch. The team gets 2 weeks off to think about and learn from this one. I think they’ll come out ready to play against their next opponent.

They won’t be #1 in the nation in the AP Poll for very long, I hope they finish there though.

How bad is the ACC this year? Not a good start overall to the season for the ACC. Duke has the two biggest wins against kentucky and Gonzaga but tonight’s loss was a game they could have easily won if they had executed offensively down the stretch. Credit to Ohio State for ramping up their defense, but Duke also took some forced shots and played a lot of 1 on 1 drive to the rim and throw it up in the lane ball.

    Next play.

I'm sorry, OSU did not win this - Duke lost it. What a WEIRD game!

Yikes. Would've liked to see Moore demand the ball and take over. Keels seemed too timid with the ball tonight.

Is Moore that type of player?
