    I don’t think they will win the ACC, I was just saying if they somehow do with the team they run out there this season, Bennett deserves to be immortal, even with how weak the ACC looks this season.

    This is a really tight game; highly recommend anyone still up and watching bball give up on the Gonzaga game and flip to this one. ND looks significantly more with it and feistier than they have in the past few years, and this St. Mary's team is tough. Fun one so far.

    Florida State pounded Missouri. Not that doing so should be unexpected (Missouri is outside the top-100), but it is good to see from a conference strength perspective. After a slow start to their season, their last 60 minutes of basketball have really been solid. Starting to look like the fringe top-25 team that folks expected coming in.

    Notre Dame fell to St. Mary's 62-59. StM is a really good team (the WCC has never been this strong, 4 legit tourney teams there) so this isn't a bad loss, but I sure would have liked to see ND boost the conference profile a bit by winning. Plus, a win would have given ND a shot at teams like Oregon, Wisconsin, and Houston... all really good tests. Instead, the Irish get Chaminade today and then the winner of Butler and Texas A&M. Ahh well.
