    Ohio State

After the extremely close call vs Akron last week, the Buckeyes fell to Xavier tonight. Nothing wrong with losing to Xavier, but Ohio State is a team that Duke needs to play well and have a good season. We play them in the Challenge, and it's one of only three out of conference games against power opponents that we have this year. Especially with the ACC not looking all that strong at the top, our strength of schedule is going to need all the help it can get come tournament time for seeding purposes. We need the Buckeye game (hopefully of course a win) to look good on the resume.

I watched a good amount of the Xavier game. There was great energy but neither team impressed me offensively. If our game with OSU was at home, I would be very confident of a 8-12 point win. Given that it is on the road and follows right after the big match-up with Gonzaga, I could see a lot of different scenarios play out.

Well if Duke did play even or better with Villanova, then our team can play with anyone. Nova throttling Tennessee…

By most all accounts, the Nova defense today was magnitudes better than it was in their earlier games. My wife's Vols looked like a prep school against it. I just hope UT bounces back in the next game, when I dearly hope they'll be playing the Cheats.

42% of UNC's shots were three pointers. Bacot fouled out with 2 points. Wow. Love and Davis are a really good backcourt. The Heels defense was much better today than prior games. Purdue is really good offensively. Unfortunately, this heel team has a lot of potential - if they play hard on D which they did today.

Strong Props to Coach Nate James and the Austin Peay Governors !!

They go to into Dayton's hostile sold out arena and come out 87-81 winners !

Everybody form an orderly queue. I’ve got Orange gear and Power T’s enough for everyone for your Vol for a day celebrations.

Syracuse had a 22-5 lead at home against Colgate and lost by 15. Seriously. Colgate not only hit 18 of 43 3-pointers but outrebounded Syracuse by 10.

This does not look like one of Boeheim's better teams, says Mr. Obvious.

    It’s early, says Captain Obvious.

    BTW, Syracuse beat Lafayette 97-63.

I just don’t see how those Big East teams can possibly win with no football money /s
