Hey Bob... I know you drive in for games in Durham. Do you also takt that extra 8 miles down the road when "absolutely" necessary?

I’m hoping we lose the coin toss, get the ball, score and play a first quarter like we put on Northwestern. Start fast and never look back!

Problem is, we've been making a habit of looking back.

Not really. We looked back against Northwestern but our consistent issue has been slow starts.

I thought the complaint was that the DBs didn't look back.

prepare to see a whole lot of that today...let's hope that the Stay Close and Flail Arms approach bears fruit for us. Looks like decent conditions, 76 now in Derm, high of 83 and allegedly sunny...

Hot as blue blazes in Chapel Hill today. The joys of a noon kickoff anytime in the south before Halloween.

76 is hot by NC standards? High of 82?

I would be just fine if we retired that Devil head logo that is on the helmet today.

It's a little hot for sitting in the sun for 3-4 hours (expect to be perspiring at some point), but I wouldn't say it is terrible (source: just went for a ~40 minute walk with the pup).

No A/C. No sweet tea. Fountain drinks, but no ice. Seriously. Who knew ice was a covid spreader?

But stratosphere? Absolutely. Bunch of ants running around.
