Johnny Dawkins reverse dunk on David Robinson had so much swag the Admiral sent his son to walk on at Duke years later.

I enjoyed that dunk also...just the second time I had seen it at Duke. The first was the Kenny Dennard reverse in the NCAA tournament.

But alas, the victim was not The Admiral, but one of his teammates whose athletic prowess might have been termed "alarmingly unathletic" by some commentators.

I was at that regional, and am still grateful that Navy eked past Cleveland St. 71-70 in the semi final, because Cleveland St. was ultra quick and I suspect would have given Duke a much tougher game than did Navy.
