Puns are how DBR weeds out the new posters from the stalwarts.

My first pun here was made at 4:20 pm Central time (I'm not in Central time but I'm sure someone is)

Yep, but sometimes the grass gets very high and it needs to be mowed.

    It's becoming a bit dis-jointed.

Not really -- why should there be in a state where it is legal? We have multi-billion dollar businesses growing marijuana --Curaleaf has a market cap of over $8 billion; Green Thumb Industries' is over $6B.

Not to get too far into the weeds, but to spark discussion: my sense is that two of the stickiest issues legal weed producers face are competition from the illicit market (no taxes, no cost to comply with regulations) and lack of easy access to the financial system.

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but -- here goes. Colorado is well aware of the competition from the illicit market and, therefore, place only a small tax on marijuana production -- 2.9 percent on recreational and medicinal sales and 15 percent on the transfer from grower to seller. There are well over 500 dispensaries in Colorado. I suspect there are controls to prevent them from selling illicitly grown product, but I don't know the rules and regs.

This appears to be BIG business here in Rocky Mountain HIGH. Total sales last year exceeded $2 billion.

Sorry if this has already been posted previously; I just found out two minutes ago.

Anyway, this is ominous. I’m so bummed out. 😞

Clearly I was the last one to know. Well, at least I had 12 extra hours of ignorant bliss before finding out about big Z’s latest injury.

This is probably his most serious injury to date, right? Hope I’m wrong about that. 😞

Heard, no link, that he fractured the dreaded 5th metatarsal bone. I’ve learned a lot about that bone since becoming a Duke fan,
