Punsters are all a bunch of pinheads. I’m on a pun strike personally.
A home bowling alley checks a lot of boxes. It's available year round because it's not weather dependent. It's a true all age activity so you can have little kids through grandparents playing together. You can even have just one person. You can have 1, 2, 4 etc number of lanes so it can fit in a wide range of spaces. It's also a sociably activity. You bowl your frame then hang out with other people, eat a bit, have a drink until your next turn. I had a friend in high school whose dad built a home with one (and a bunch of other really fancy things) our junior year. At the time that home was a unicorn for my area. I think it's still the largest house in the county. The bowling alley got more use than their movie theater (VCR...he did not do laser disc) or indoor pool (and was less on a liability risk.)
I learned a new word today, thanks!
Can somebody explain what is going on in this room? Is that a teddy bear-based nativity scene in the lower left corner?
