Tonight's game scares me, but I have high hopes we can pull this off. The opposition is a tough team, but in past years we have been facing them without a high-powered scoring threat. That's not the case this year. To give some perspective on that, last year's leading scorer was Marykate McGuire, and she now generally comes off the bench. I am still concerned about the opponent's high press, but if we can get through the midfield, we should generate some chances. Sophie Jones will be an important piece of the puzzle tonight. GTHC. LGD!

Possession was nearly 50/50 in the half but UNC has had more scoring chances. Duke has controlled the ball for long stretches but has not connected on many lobs into the box. They need to be patient and work it in using shorter passes. Ruthie Jones has made a couple of brilliant saves to keep it scoreless.

Duke really controlled the last 20 minutes and had a couple of good scoring opportunities. A great team effort and a high quality win!
