Welcome to Duke Kyle Filipowski!
Unicorn in the making.
Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things. - Winston Churchill

Welcome to Duke Kyle Filipowski!
Unicorn in the making.
i like this guy.
1200. DDMF.
Good get.
Now I think it's time to talk about the giant sundial in the room. How do you think his minutes will shake out??
If you go back to the press conference, K specifically mentioned that he wouldn't be out recruiting basically at all this year, and it was going to allow him to focus 100% of his time and energy on coaching the team and getting them prepared to win a championship.
New England kids are the toughest and the best.
ESPN lists this kid’s offers from virtually everywhere:
Duke (signed)
Boston College
Creighton
Georgetown
Illinois
Iowa
Marquette
Maryland
Michigan
Notre Dame
Ohio State
Pittsburgh
Providence
Purdue
Rutgers
Stanford
Syracuse
UCLA
Connecticut
Vanderbilt
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest
Xavier
Looks like he was also offered by Bryant, Indiana, Louisville, Marist, Miami (FL), Northwestern, and Stony Brook.
Outstanding news!
It was one of several things K said in that press conference that got me really hyped for this season. He is pretty clearly not planning on checking out early. Heck, wouldn't be shocked to see him get T'd up at some point! I'm expecting him to be pretty fired up.
And, of course, welcome to Duke, Kyle!
Welcome, Kyle! We are excited to see you carry on the tradition of greatness.
Welcome to the brotherhood, Kyle.
Call me old fashioned, but I like that his press release mentions the importance of academics and references graduating from Duke. Part of me obviously hopes he is a superstar his freshman year and leaves to be a lottery pick, but I also like that he seems to care about what is happening on both sides of Towerview Road.
Huge fan of this kid's game. He should continue to rise in the rankings, into the top 20-25 when it's all said and done. This is a reach, but his skillset reminds me a little of Christian Laettner. At worst, I think he's a more athletic Ryan Kelly.
We got us a good one.
Kyle presents a rare form of student-athlete where their high school tuition likely rivals that of Duke.
Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s annual tuition for students in grades 6-12 that board 7 days/week is $66,800 in the 2021-2022 school year!
Same school that 2016 power forward Duke target Wenyen Gabriel attended before committing to Kentucky .
Welcome to the party, pal !!!!!!!
