Back then, cigarettes were good for you because they exercised your lungs. And baby oil gave you that nice healthy tan when you lay out in the sun.

I coulda been an NBA power forward back in the day if I hadn't slathered my body with Crisco as I laid by the pool when I was a youngster.

I should have been 6' 8" at least, but Crisco stunted my growth. I guess I should have known because it said right on the label that Crisco is shortening!!

Yeah, we forget that cigarettes were once considered good for you. Or at least advertised as such.

As a respiratory therapist I am keenly aware of how cigarette smoking has impacted my career. As a RT student I instituted a "Give a Kid a Smoke" campaign to help my career prospects.

Since I could not put my palm to YOUR forehead, I did not respond.

I am up to my orifices in audits right now. Feeling a little less . . . patient.

I have been playing tennis and basketball again and I may start sparring with a couple of dudes and I'll let you know if they put a hurting on me. You're busy but you deserve some joy in life and I bet these guys can help you out.

I need to get my butt on the tennis court again. Work out my stress on my serves and returns.

Does anyone else feel like this thread sounds like a fun night out post-pandemic?

For some reason it also reminds me of Wyatt Earp’s wife. I need my laudanum, Wyatt. I have to have it.
