    Terrific Article on Paolo Banchero

    in today's Athletic. Long but really good - his background, parents, upbringing, coaching, relationship with K, what got him sold on Duke, and lots of other great stuff.

    Some highlights:
    -His Mom sounds like a force of nature. A former WNBA player (brief career) she was Paolo's most vocal and hard driving critic. He probably credits her with a chunk of his success, but he also had to ask her to stop coming to his games because her constant banter and suggestions made him lose focus.
    -What sealed coming to Duke for him was Coach K telling him that while he was good enough to get to the NBA from any college, he needed to come to Duke to maximize himself because K and the staff would really push him.
