    Interesting move by Virginia Tech

    Tech has hired Mike Jones, the head coach at DeMatha, as its top assistant coach. Probably a great move by Mike Young. Jones has been very successful at DeMatha, as the successor to Morgan Wootten, who is probably the greatest high school basketball coach of all time.

    faintly reminiscent of the days of Bob Wade at Merlin...you just never know...
