Offseason Thread: Top 5 Duke Dunkers

A Typical Offseason Post: Inspired by this post: https://www.facebook.com/DukeMBB/videos/477218649782406

    Name your Top 5 Dunkers!

    1. Zion
    2. G. Hill
    3. G. Henderson
    4. RJ Barrett
    5. Spot probably goes to someone before my time, but I'm going to have to put Grayson Allen dude had some monsters.

Your turn. Also, share dunk highlights because who doesn't like dunk highlights.

Corey Maggette should probably be 2nd on that list. I also donít remember Barrett for his dunking abilities.

Maggette did things athletically that I had only seen from Thompson, Jordan, and Bias.

    1. This is exactly why I made this thread.
    2. He def falls into the before my time category (G. Hill shouldn't be before anyones time)
    3. Highlights!

The color commentary on this one had me rolling I want to say it's great because its cheesy, but I'm afraid it will devolve this thread into a punny mess.

I agree with this, except I think Stanley is slightly better than Dahntay. Assume you are referring to Gran Hill and Gerald Henderson, though Thomas Hill was pretty good too and Phil Henderson's dunk vs. Georgetown was one of the best singular dunks in Duke history.

As an honorable mention, I would also like to offer up Mason Plumlee.

Mason Plumlee tops the volume list. He also had some pretty high degree-of-difficulty dunks. I recall one against Maryland, another against The Ohio State University that would make any short list.

Those guys had finesse and artistry combined with a desire to dunk in traffic.
