    Jon Scheyer. I'll take that.

Matt Jones comparison is laughable. Matt could barely dunk. Trevor is pretty damn athletic. Trent is a far closer comparison athleticism-wise.

Mods, thanks for changing the thread title--I forgot the traditional wording.

Good news for a change. Welcome to Duke Trevor Keels. Thanks to Jeremy for helping with the recruitment. Hopefully we will keep everybody else and add one or two more. (Maybe Baldwin) 🤞

    Duke will be "alarmingly unathletic"

    Thanks, we needed that.

Keels’ strength appears to be spot-up shooter with range. We will need that. If he approximates Gary Trent, then I will be elated. Gary had that mid-range game as well where he would penetrate and pull up at the top of the key. If Keels can pick that up, then that’s bonus. I see why Coach told him to work on getting leaner. He’s bulky, which seems to limit is dribble-pen game and explosiveness. But he’s a fearless shooter. Will be fun to watch.

I was simply responding to the post I quoted. Someone with a profile comparable to Trent would be fantastic.

Did the director from the Bourne Identity movies make that video? Get that man a tripod!

Keels looks to be really solidly built. Won't be getting outmuscled in the way that Steward sometimes did. We'll have to see how he adjusts to the speed of the college game. I like the Trent comparison, he had a really underrated season for us. Hopefully this roster can spread the floor better than that team and give the guards some room to drive inside.

Slow, not explosive but can shoot. Exactly what the Dr ordered. He can be a great college player.

If DJ Steward thinks he has a shot at the NBA, he certainly believes that playing time a Duke would be available. (And I think it would have been.)

Keels and Roach together. I haven't watched this yet, but I think I will before the summer is done.
