Best team to never win the title

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

Bahahaha. I honestly thought he was going to say 1999 Duke as he typically always has self-deprecating humor.

Too funny....but for my money, 1999 Duke is way better than the 1986 Duke (any I am old enough to have watched both).
Have to have the Georgetown team that lost to Nova on that list
1975 Indiana....what Jay does not say is that Scott May broke his arm in the Sweet 16 leading to their 1 loss in 2 years...
1974 Maryland...lose in OT 103-100 to eventual national champion NC State with David "Skywalker" Thompson in the Final of the ACC Tournament when only 1 team per conference could play in the NCAA Tournament...the greatest ACC Tournament game ever played (Thompson, Rivers, Towe, Spence, Burleson, Lucas, Howard, McMillan, Elmore, Brown)

Duke 99 and Uconn 99 were effectively the only two teams in college ball that year. In 86 Duke was one of, if not the best, of several quality teams. In 99 there were only 2 real teams with everyone else so far back as to not really matter.
