I am way out of shape but I'm in if wall push ups count. Maybe I can work my way up to actual push ups by the end of the month.

I can't because of an elbow injury.
    Good luck everybody

Go for it! Did you get your 75 in today?

That's a lot of minutes! I'm assuming walking counts?

Not yet - I'm still at the office. Will start at home tonight and then do throughout the day starting tomorrow.

My daughter says "You start with feet close to the wall and then gradually move them farther out until your hands are on the floor." We had this conversation the other day about wall push ups. I tried to argue that they can't be called push ups any more. They must be called "push aways". She didn't find that amusing.

    I'm ok with push aways.

Bonus of still being at the office - I'm "watching' the 2001 national championship game behind the screens I'm working on.

This is a terrific idea. As I haven't been in a gym for over a year I've only had cycling and tennis to remain active and knee pain is reducing my passion for tennis. I presume that you'll accept 75 sets of 1, 1 set of 75 or anything in between? Working on sets of 6.

Do what you can do! I thought I was going to jump right in with sets of 25 like I used to but nope, wasn't happening!

Oh, you're talking real exercise push-ups, not the padding kind.

I'm in starting this AM; have a day to make up as yesterday was a single set of diminishing 12 ounce curls at dinner followed by a set of diminishing 16 ounce curls an hour before bedtime.
[redacted] them and the horses they rode in on.

Those diminishing 12 and 16 ounce curls are part of the reason I need the 2200 push ups!

Just finished 80 for today! 4 sets of 15 and 1 set of 20 (I was feeling it on that 3rd set!)

    155 Total!

Definitely easier, IMHO, to do them all within about 20 to 25 minutes.

Doc has me on reduced exercise so I may or not make it. I did 2,262 between Feb. 1 and March 6, so maybe I was just doing this challenge early?

    2/1(20x6)=120
    3(25x4)=100(220)
    5–x
    7–x
    9(30x3)=90(310)
    11(30x4)=120(450)
    13(35x5+57)=232(682)
    15(35x3)=105(787)
    17(38x4+21)=173(960)
    19(40x1,38x2)=116(1076)
    21(40x4+80)=240(1316)
    23(42x1,40x2)=122(1438)
    25(42x2,35x1)=119(1557)
    27(40x3)=120(1777)

    3/1-x
    3(40x3,40x3)=240(2017)
    6(45x3,40x2+30)=245(2262)

25 Wide, 25 Tricep, and 25 Decline in the bag.

2-day total 150. May do some more later if I'm feeling froggy.

Oops behind a bit. Now at 70 but have been at it less than 24 hours. Got to get in my usual 15 miles on the bike at Person County Airport after sunset. Be sure to key your mike 5 times on Person County's frequency to activate the field lights if you're coming for a visit. I don't want a Cessna 182 buzzin up my behind.
