I have a bad feeling about ACC teams this year.
Here's the breakdown for the ACC matchups in the NCAA first round - underdogs Friday, favorites Saturday:

[9]Loyola Chicago (8) (-3) vs. [31]Georgia Tech (9) (4:00, TBS)
[28]North Carolina (8) (+2) vs. [12]Wisconsin (9) (7:10, CBS)
[42]Clemson (7) (+2) vs. [34]Rutgers (10) (9:20, TBS)
[19]San Diego State (3) (-3) vs. [40]Syracuse (11) (9:40, CBS)
Saturday
[13]Florida State (4) (-10) vs. [99]UNC Greensboro (13) (12:45, TruTV)
[10]Virginia (4) (-8) vs. [79]Ohio (13) (7:15, TruTV)
Just be you. You is enough. - K, 4/5/10, 0:13.8 to play, 60-59 Duke.
You're all jealous hypocrites. - Titus on Laettner
You see those guys? Animals. They're animals. - SIU Coach Chris Lowery, on Duke

I request a mod change the title to ACC in the Postseason
NC State 75
Davidson 61
The Virginia Tech Hokies are on the ropes vs Florida. The ACC is about to be 0-1 in the 2021 NCAA Tournament with the league’s coach of the year going one and done ...
What a shot! Hokies hit a 3 at the buzzer!
OT!
Yep what a shot. Florida absolutely blew the end of that game. 6 point lead with about a minute left, then a 5 second call after not being able to get the ball in bounded for a turnover, missed two free throws with seconds left, and then give up a 3 to the Hokies for a tie.
Virginia Tech needs to capitalize here in OT!
some very weak calls on va tech here in OT...

I hope nobody had or has any aspirations of any team in the acc going very far in the tourney this year. No team near good enough this year.
5 ACC teams in round of 64 action today. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. is an underdog.
That has to be some kind of record, and this HAS to be the weakest year for the ACC in decades (or maybe ever), depending on your def of "weakest". I mean, there are certainly years when we got less teams in the tournament, but never one when there seem to be absolutely ZERO teams with even a popular "darkhorse" chance to a title (or maybe even a FF).
If there are zero second weekend teams in the ACC, I won't be shocked. In fact, I'll only be shocked at 0-7 from the standpoint that at that sample size at least one win is VERY likely, regardless of quality.
Hoping that Duke and UNC (ducks) get back to their usual top 5-10ish form next year (and that UVA rejoins them), and that in the next tier of 7-8 squads, there are at least 2-3 top 30 teams.
Ga Tech is in a dog fight. Now I know why so many people picked Loyola. Have to think Wright would have made a difference in this game. But Alvarado is trying to will them to victory.
On a related note, I am glad Josh Pastner’s flash cards made it to Indy.
Let’s go Wisconsin!
