Poor old holes. They're so sad! Must be dehydrated from crying, they're fantasizing on icky about Brad Stevens coming to c. hill om when Huck retires.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

It felt like Wisconsin shot about 80% from the field. Box score says 50%. Curious.

This doesn'tt reflect well on the ACC teams and Duke was beaten by several of today's ACC losers.

Exactly. Our inability to close out against team that got waxed doesn't suggest we would have been poised for greatness.

Syracuse is doing well. But yes the ACC was down this year. That was pretty obvious.

Wisconsin held their own inside and their guards did the dirty work fighting for boards too. They hit some tough shots but UNC helped them by sticking to their predictable game plan and getting nothing going outside the paint. A great game to watch!

Syracuse is straight up balling. Hitting threes from everywhere and has completely shut down SDSU.

Yes. A team Duke beat handily. And also the last ACC team to squeak into the field. And the ACC’s lowest seed.

there's a reason despite their superior rebounding, UNC is #30KP and wisconsin was top 10. Wisconsin was a huge underseed from a stats perspective, and todays games have largely made the ACC look every bit as poor as supposed...not that purdue or OSU flattered the big 10...but i'll hold the jury out on them given illinois pending the iowa and michigan games tomorrow.

Big-televen has a long and storied history of underperforming in March. Purdue and Ohio State today are just the latest examples.
Having said that, the ACC was definitely weaker this year. No question about it.

I really don't subscribe to that kind of thought. they've had enough teams at least reaching the final four to demonstrate they at least have some quality. At that point, getting it done is a bit of a crapshoot. The same could have been said about K before 1991, for instance. jay wright before 2016, tony bennett before 2019, etc. No doubt purdue and osu didn't flatter the big 10, but illinois blew the doors out, and they still have iowa and michigan going tomorrow.
