Duke Basketball Jerseys - patch on lower front right... What is it?

Does anyone know what the black patch on the lower front right jersey represents?
This patch can be seen when the jersey is untucked.

I have looked everywhere I can think of to try and find the answer, but I have had no luck.

I have noticed that both the Home White & Road Blue jersey have this patch on the front right hip.
Not sure if the Black Alternate jersey has it also. I could not find any good pictures.

Here are a couple of decent photos that show what I am talking about.

i wonder if the trackers that they had been putting in the back neck of the jersey are slimmed down and put there? otherwise, someone's logo?

I zoomed in on the Mark Williams photo and was able to make out the word "Kinexon". A quick search on google showed that Kinexon is a German company that specializes in tracking movement in real time for players and objects in sports. The patch seemed to have a bit of relief to it; this leads me to believe that it might be part of the tracking system rather than just a logo.

got it. so I was right on one countor the other.

At least last year, there was a pouch built just below the back of the neckline either on the jersey or undershirt, and before the game, whomever would have a big case of trackers and insert them into the uniforms. So i'm not sure if this is a different system, where the tracker is slimmer and built in, or if it's just part of it, or is just an advertisement for them (which seems like it would be odd given it's below the waistline).

Does the ball have one too? Or at least a UPC.

There was a mailbag article in the Athletic a week ago that had the following:

What were those black square pads that several of the players were wearing on their hip Saturday night? — Tim W.

Great question, Tim, and I’m sort of surprised no one noticed yet? Those are Duke’s COVID-19 tracking devices: Reflex, by KINETIC. KINETIC specializes in wearable technology that improves workplace safety, and the Reflex — which looks like a cellphone holster on a player’s hip — is specifically designed for COVID-19 safety. I’m not even gonna pretend to know the ins and outs of this thing, but my understanding is that it’s basically a tracker. The device emits a sound if players get too close to one another, or to staffers/coaches, and that allows for better social distancing measures. Similarly, were there a COVID-19 positive within the program, the device tracks close contacts to improve contact-tracing protocols.
Speaking of uniforms, are the brotherhood jerseys going to make an appearance this season?

Thanks for the responses everyone. It is greatly appreciated.

I suspected that the patches were probably some sort of tracing device, but I was unable to find anything about it.
