Clemson was very good in November, December, and February. January -- not so much

There are some strange streaks for many ACC teams
“I love it. Coach, when we came here, we had a three-hour meeting about the core values. If you really represent the core values, it means diving on the floor, sacrificing your body for your teammates, no matter how much you’re up by or how much you’re down by, always playing hard.” -- Zion
The ACC bracket simulator* suggests this is right, as it has a 10-6 Clemson seeded ahead of an 11-7 Duke.
*I realize this is not an authoritative source, but is pretty reliable.
Just be you. You is enough. - K, 4/5/10, 0:13.8 to play, 60-59 Duke.
You're all jealous hypocrites. - Titus on Laettner
You see those guys? Animals. They're animals. - SIU Coach Chris Lowery, on Duke
Here's a look at NCAA-T success by seed. The anomalies are the Sweet Sixteen attainment for seeds 10-12 vs. the lack of success for seed 8 and 9. (Hint: A lot of #1 seeds are wa-a-a-y out in the tail of the distribution -- as in, amazingly good.)

'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
It really looked like next year would be a great one for Capel. Toney and Xavier Johnson were both going to be seniors and Champagnie was going to be a junior. Now the two seniors are transferring and I would not be surprised to hear Champangie is entering the draft (his best teammates are all leaving, why stick around?).
I would have made Pitt a trendy team to crack the top tier of the conference next year... now, it looks like they are in for a longer rebuild. Unless I missed it, I don't think Capel has a single recruit yet for the class of 2021. The book on him at Duke was a stud recruiter. He has not lived up to that thus far at Pitt.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
Look like Duke allowed the Marquette team to use Cameron as a practice facility while they were in town. One of the many perks of the brotherhood.

Carolina could get a huge break today in their game with FSU --
MJ Walker, FSU's leading scorer and best player, is doubtful for the game tonight. 6-9 Forward Malik Osbourn and 7-1 C Tanor Ngom are also not expected to play. They both would have been useful players against the big Carolina front line.
FSU is really, really deep -- generally playing 9+ players significant minutes in every game -- but if these guys do not play, it will really sting.

Watching the Carolina-FSU game:
The bad news is you can definitely hear that there are fans at the game in Chapel Hill.
The good news is that it doesn’t seem to be making a difference.
Is there a reason the FSU-Cheats game just went to halftime? Seems it’s going to run well past 6pm, our start time.
Also, so far, it appears the Cheats look good. (Just tuned in for a few seconds before half.)
Ugh. FSU completely melted down. 17-3 second half. Come on ‘Noles. Get it together.
