    Ymm, Pudding

Thought we needed another dessert thread.

And, if anyone posts an answer other than "homemade banana pudding (*)," they deserve the wrath of the masses.

(* an acceptable alternative answer is "bread pudding" with a Scotch ale or imperial stout chaser )

If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding.

In keeping with my post on the chocolate thread, I vote for chocolate pudding.

Dirt pudding is one of the happy memories of my youth. Layers of ground Oreo and layers of a pudding cream cheese mix.

I realize I may be beaten for this, but I was just thinking yesterday about making rice pudding. If done right, it can be extra yummy. And I LOVE a good tapioca pudding.

Homemade rice pudding with raisins and a splash of half and half in each serving is an acceptable alternative answer.

Especially if you soak the raisins in rum the night before using.

Oooh, great idea; or a 1/2 tsp of rum drizzled over the rice pudding when serving.

When I saw that the next in the "Ymm" series was pudding, I had a hard time believing there could be posts of any value in this thread.

    I was wrong.

Well, we try for some value/s; at least a few of us, anyway.

I'm very sure the nuns at the Convent of the Sacred Heart just went with good old ground up horse hooves.

I just want to put something out there: calling it puddin’ and saying it real slow makes it taste twice as good.

I'm confused: "another dessert thread" when "pudding" is what I grew up calling dessert. I don't have a sweet tooth, but if you twist my arm, I still wouldn't eat what Bill Cosby was selling.

I saw this article and thought of this thread - this 105-year old woman says that she survived covid by eating gin-soaked raisins - nine a day after they have been soaking for nine days.
