Finally, a Duke basketball game is not going to be on ACCN

Finally, a Duke basketball game comes on ESPN Saturday night, instead of the ACCN. I almost forgot that Duke played basketball, but happy to see that we still have a team and they play basketball.

Fans without ACCN have my sympathy -- my cable system picked it up almost a year after its debut -- but I feel like Duke has been on the ESPN networks often this basketball season. Of the games they played:

    ACCN

    Boston College
    Wake Forest
    at Virginia Tech
    Notre Dame
    at Wake Forest

    ACCNX

    Coppin State

    RSN

    Bellarmine

    ESPN/ESPN2

    Michigan State
    Illinois
    at Notre Dame
    at Pittsburgh
    at Louisville
    Georgia Tech
    Clemson
    at Miami
    UNC
    at NC State
(Still to play, all on ESPN or ESPN2: Virginia, Syracuse, Louisville, at Georgia Tech, at UNC)

If your emphasis was about Saturday night availability, the only time Duke was on ACCN this season was the home game against Wake Forest. Also Coppin State, which was a Saturday afternoon game.

I’m with rthomas on this one. Eye test. Facts get in the way sometimes.

It did get me to switch from Comcast to Verizon.

Other than the ACC network, I haven’t really noticed a difference, though!
