MBB: Duke at Wake Forest (Wed, 2/17, 8:30 pm, ACCN) Pre-Game and In-Game Thread

I watched Wake against Fla State. State defended intensely including pressure on the guy bring the ball up. Wake still managed to shoot the 3 very well and almost knocked State off. Just a couple of missed FTs at the end made the difference in Wake's effort. We had better defend the 3 point line and use Williams to intimidate inside. We can score so I agree, defense is the key to the game.

What's almost better than the 19 point halftime lead...? The announcers haven't mentioned sneakers, the NBA, what they like to eat or wear, or called each other cutsie nicknames. Whoever these guys are, I want them each game.

It's hard to worry about something with a 19 point lead, but I'd like to see the 3-pt D tighten up. But if they keep killing Wake on the boards, it may not matter.

I thought Forbes bumped the ref. I didn't see that on the close-up views, but I thought I did from the "end zone" view. Nobody else seems to have seen that, though, so perhaps I was mistaken.
