And PSG closes the door to win the game at 2-0. The streak is still alive, but these teams certainly seem pretty evenly matched. The nightcap follows in about 30 minutes. LGD!

And the Clemson pitcher was consistently throwing over 70 mph. By the way, I believe she was 12-0 before today's loss.

Sweet double to end the inning.

I'm going to try to say this as tactfully as I can.

What's up with the "pinch runner" when the person on base loses close to 100 pounds to the person that hit the ball? I'm kind of guessing since that is a thing, that the batter likely never does anything but walk to the dugout after she gets on base?

Top of the 7th, two-out double by Foreman to give Duke a 3-1 lead. 3 outs away.

Think there’s a limit to the number of times you can be pinch run for

Doesn't the pinch runner stay in the game, as in baseball?

A quick rules search... in fast pitch softball, a player who is substituted for a pinch runner can re-enter the game at the same defensive position and batting order. If the same player is substituted a second time for a pinch runner in that game then that player must stay out for the remainder of the game.

I had to eat dinner and be social during the second game, but I see Duke did it again, winning 3-1.

First time PSG has looked like a liability this season. Surprised Clemson is so good in their first full season.

PSG has settled down and the offense got a run. Maybe too little too late. But can’t win em all

Just not our day - hitting lots of line drives...just all right at Clemson fielders.

3 outs left in the streak.

The streak is dead--long live the streak. Had to happen sometime. Failure to get a hit in the clutch, far too many hard hit shots that found Clemson gloves instead of open spaces. That's often how streaks end. Tomorrow is time to start a new winning streak.

New streaks often = less stress.

Duke takes a 1-0 lead over Clemson in the 3rd. Sure would be nice to take 3 out of 4 from the ranked Tigers.
