You can get a tarte citron in the cafe on the third floor of the Louvre, the one right near their Vermeer (The Lacemaker), that is absolutely heavenly.

On a road trip through Maine a few summers ago we had some spectacular blueberry pies. I have not been able to get close to replicating them in my kitchen.
Make this about once a month, though the rhubarb patch is pretty thin this time of year. Tried making a cranberry rhubarb pie over the holidays as I had a bunch of cranberries and strawberries were out of season. Would not recommend.

One of the down home restaurants I frequented before the pandemic had a pastry chef who did some interesting things. The best I got there was a strawberry-fig pie. Yummmmy.
