Wonderful artist. I saw him live a few years back in Baldwin Auditorium.

I understand master drummer Dave Weckl had recently talked about doing a new recording project with Corea. A great one!

67 Grammy nominations and 23 wins. It doesn't get more iconic than that.

I saw him at Duke in the early 80s, I believe it was in the Gardens. Incredible talent.

I was fortunate to see Chick Corea several times and at least once with Miles. What I liked about his artistry is that he did everything even acoustic trio albums. RIP Chick Corea.

Indeed he did everything. At the Balwin Auditorium concert he played alone at a piano, and did pieces from many different genres--including a Chopin mazurka. I also saw him in a wonderful concert duet with Bela Fleck (minus the Flecktones).

I saw Chick Corea and Return to Forever in Jadwin Gym at Princeton in the '70's. I had a front row seat and that concert was the first time (of 3 total lifetime) I ever took a psychedelic. Experiencing him rule the world from his keyboard was one of the most amazing experiences I ever had. After the show a friend of mine invited the RTF bassist Stanley Clarke to come hang at our eating club with us. Stanley did (Chick didn't show) and later hooked up with the gf of the guy who invited him to party. Crazy times!
