To be fair, the game isn't offering a lot of material for them. It annoys me a lot more when the game is competitive and they are blathering on and on about nothing.

I'm going to be super excited to watch a junior Mark Williams play. Not knocking his play now, I think he could be a 18-10 and 4 blocks per game player for us.

Also, Johnson hasn’t played in this half. Do we think his injury may be affecting his play or playing time? I heard somewhere Coach K say they repeated an MRI on Johnson’s foot last Sunday, the day after the Carolina game.

Yeah, interesting that with this big lead, very little JJ and no Joey. Not sure what that means for them. Guess K likes the energy that Brakefield (and Coleman) brings to the defense?

I'm loving how well Duke is playing today, but I have to say, both these teams are a big step down from what we usually expect of the ACC (well, at least for Duke). There was a sequence midway through the 2nd half where Brakefield missed two wide-open layups, only to have State simply throw the ball away to a Duke player on the other end. I felt like a parent at a elementary-school church league: lots of "Look, my boy's about to score!..." only to be followed by a collective groan and chuckle at the haplessness...

The team played well, but Matthew Hurt is the worst Duke defender I can remember.
