I predict this will be the defending national champ versus the preseason #1 team.
For those with a long term outlook:
@JonRothstein
Sources: Gonzaga will play Duke in a neutral site game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 26th.

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
The timing is interesting; it's the Friday after Thanksgiving. I guess we are either playing in a very early exempt tournament or none at all. I think we gave up on December tournaments after 1994-1995.
maybe K pal Steve Wynn will celebrate by maiming yet another Picasso?

Duke will most likely play in the Champions Classic to start the year and they are schedule to face Kentucky. There's also been talk of a game at Michigan State since MSU traveled to Durham this season.
vs. Kentucky (neutral site)
@ MSU
vs. Gonzaga (neutral site)
It's shaping up to be a tough nonconference schedule.
The way it was described, I don't think that will be the case. Duke is scheduled to go on the road next season for the ACC/B1G challenge. But after the MSU game got moved to Durham, and because it was for the Champions Classic, my assumption is that it will be a separate game. Maybe that's why Duke is going to play a neutral site game with Gonzaga, to add in a non-conference game in lieu of a tournament.
Ugh I am so sick of playing them so often. I know we owe them a game at their place, but if it was me I'd play that one and try to have it not be the ACC/B10Challenge game and play somebody else in that. We already play them once every three years in the Champions Classic. I'd prefer that in years we don't play them in that, that we don't play them so often in the Challenge. Sometimes, OK. But there are lots of other interesting matchups with B10 programs that I'd like to see us engage in more often. Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue, Indiana . . .
The ACC-B10 resets next year and is based on TV ratings. If we play @MSU, we'll get another B10 team in a student-filled Cameron to balance it out.
If you plan on going, tickets for this go on sale Friday, 3/12. If you don't like tickets above the 100-level, you might want to buy them now. We don't know how many good tickets Duke will get. It's a stereotypical NBA arena right by New York New York casino.
