We’ve reverted back to liilinois, VT and Pitt game defense. Not sure if it’s MTM or sluggishness.

I don't understand the mentality of chasing them 30 feet from the basket when they are good athletes who can drive to the rim. They are a poor shooting team.
Why don't we back off? Or play a zone, for that matter? This defense that we are currently showing them plays right into their team strengths.

Far from an expert here - but it seems to me we are playing zone when we should play man and vice versa

Combination of short turnaround- feeling Miami was an easy win- coming off a blowout and playing a team with nothing to lose.

Mark Williams is showing great passing skills for a big, especially from the perimeter. If he can continue that, it’ll make the opposition have to guard him on the perimeter despite his lack of an outside shot. That could open up a lot of possibilities.
