Having difficulty with the LSN feed, but Duke has jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals by Montgomery, O. Capitol, and Sowers.

Duke leads 6-2 after one quarter. Brennan cashed in on the doorstep with a second to go. Naso is 6-for-8 on faceoffs.
Inside Lacrosse has a live box score going as well.
This is the link to the Towson Gametracker. It's way ahead, particularly when the video feed just goes on spin cycle or ultimate night game.

It's 9-2 Duke. UVA dropped about 20 on Towson. On a day when the snow covers the track, you just want to get better, win, and go home.
The Penn State v Cornell game is running more often than the Duke game on LSN - with no freezing. LSN seems to switch between the 2 for no apparent reason.
Duke is continuing to roll, now up 12-2 early in the third.
19-7 is your final. Defense went off the boil a bit in the fourth quarter.
Four goals for Brennan, including a highlight-reel behind-the-back. A quiet six points for Sowers. Naso finished 21-for-25.
In a shocker, Army leads Syracuse 14-10 w/ 12 to go in the 4th. Syracuse was picked to win the ACC. Virginia beat Army 14-9 earlier this year.

Army 18-11 final. Wow.

It took Army a quarter to get themselves sorted, but after that they dominated. Cuse was not fundamentally sound. Brendan Nichtern is really, really good; he abused my homie Brett Kennedy all afternoon.
Game plan for Cuse: double-pole the first midfield, and make the attack beat you. They need to prove it.
Duke women underway against VPISU. Trailing early.
Duke women win their ACC opener over VaTech, 12-8. Change in goal midway through the first half changed the momentum; Hokies got only three in the game’s last 45 minutes. LeRose came in hot and stayed hot (eight saves, three GA). Midfield defense, led by Cat Barry and Cubby Biscardi, was sensational.
Cheats are up next.

Just got a newsflash that Matt Danowski is retiring -- from professional Lacrosse. Might he be joining his dad on the staff again? Honestly, I thought he was still on the staff. Or is he getting a head coaching job elsewhere?
Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

He has been an assistant at Duke for a while - here is his bio. Pro lacrosse is not a huge time commitment so many of the players also have other jobs. I did not realize that he is married to Ned Crotty's sister. I believe one of Crotty's other sisters is married to Mike Dunleavy. That is quite the Duke athletic gene pool being created!

Duke women jump all the way to number eight in the IL media poll.
DVR alert: Cuse and UVA face off at the same time that Duke men’s basketball tips off tomorrow. ACCN has the lacrosse game.
For the truly hardcore, in addition to Duke women vs. the Cheats tonight, an intriguing lunchtime matchup pits BC against USC. ACCN has both games live.
