Some Random thoughts:
This was an era when the giants still walked among us: President Few, Cap Card, Wallace Wade, "Edmund M." Cameron, & Ted Mann all make an appearance.
Absolutely no idea why the Dean of Administration at that rest stop off 15/501 was asked to give the opening remarks.
Ticket prices and their apparent availability for the remaining season's home games are hard to believe even adjusting for inflation. 75 cents for the last non-conference game and a whole dollar for conference games (all prices include tax!). And... no Iron Duke fees. Actually, the real Iron Dukes were still on the football field.
No, I wasn't around for this event, but I was in the stands when sophomore Bill Bradley (this was before freshman eligibility) led Princeton against one of the Heyman/Mullins teams. Princeton wasn't the final four team that it would become two years later, and the score wasn't close, but it was obvious that Bradley was going to be a star. What could have been...
Bradley had a unique free throw stance. He would position himself almost sideways to the basket when he shot. Imagine how a crab would shoot (assuming a crab could shoot free throws ).
