Just this week I watched the DVD of the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary special. I thought he didn't look well. Seemed like a good guy. The show was a love-fest, but the young actors (now grown up, of course) truly loved him.
R.I.P.
He was a piece of a lot of children’s childhoods as Hagrid in all eight Harry Potter films and a lot of people in general loved him. And by all accounts he was a seemingly decent man. Dead at 72.
RIP Hagrid!

RIP. The Hagrid in my mind became him after watching the movies. You can't say anything better than that about a performance.
His run as ‘Cracker’ was really good. I’m not sure the story lines hold up, but he nailed the unrepentant train wreck psychologist investigator.
RIP.
Loved his Bond character.
