Wonderful!
My wife and I are making pizza. We bought an Ooni Koda 16, outdoor gas fired pizza oven. We follow Forkish's recipe for sour dough crust.
Made these recently:
Pickled jalapeņos and salami.

Tomato and roasted garlic.

Roasted butternut squash, bacon and onion.

There is a learning curve cooking a pizza at over 800 degrees F in about 1.5 minutes. But we are getting the hang of it.

"We are not provided with wisdom, we must discover it for ourselves, after a journey through the wilderness which no one else can take for us, an effort which no one can spare us, for our wisdom is the point of view from which we come at last to regard the world." --M. Proust
Nicely done. We like making homemade pizza too. Roasted fruits of various stripes are one of our favorite unique toppings.
Yum! Here's a question. If you could only have one pizza topping ever, for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mine would be mushrooms, no question.
My nieghbor has the same one.
4 kids. They cook more pizza than i may have eaten in my lifetime.
They make hot sandwiches also.
He made me a beef and bacon pizza .was quick and good.
My mind tokd me the cheese couldnt be that hot.the roof of my mouth said otherwise .
The speed will fool you.
Last night we brought in pizza from New York Pizza on Battleground Ave., Greensboro, NC. Very good NY style pizza.
On my half I had double pepperoni (to answer the original question), double mushrooms and diced tomatoes. On her half it was spinach, diced tomatoes, onions, green pepper and olives.
Hey! It's lunch time. Gonna heat up my leftover slices!
Ozzie, your paradigm of optimism!

Funny, we're doing the same thing and I'm going to play with a variant of your butternut squash pizza.
Here are some combos that have worked well for us:
- Bacon, Fig, caramelized onion, goat cheese, balsamic drizzle
- artichoke, roasted red pepper, roasted garlic, 3 cheese - mozz, bleu, asiago
- sage sausage, roasted red pepper, caramelized red onion, roasted garlic, finished with lightly oiled arugula
