Last night was the first game I can ever remember in which I turned the TV off a halftime...may watch some of the second half at cocktail hour on fast forward, get the agony over with quicker. Can't be many Duke highlights without any points.

To be frank, I'm very much getting the same thoughts I had back in the Roof/Franks era, which is that I feel sorry for the kids on the field. They're in a crappy situation that really needs to be improved, one way or another.

I snuck in with my no longer valid Student ID in 1977, then they changed the style in 1978, so I bought season tickets. Mike Dunn was an exciting quarterback to watch!

My dad took me to my first game in 1966 when I was seven. I’ve been to a bunch more over the years.

Sadly, this may be our best chance to beat the Seminoles in my and most of our lifetimes (at least under current division alignment). Just hope our attitude and effort is all in; can imagine FSU doesn’t give a s——- about this game.

Oh, I imagine they have no interest in losing to a poor Duke team.

If the line is 4.5, I'd wager HEAVY on FSU - if I were inclined to such things.
