Yeah. You wouldn't think mcconaughey needs the money...

The Norway/EV commercial was pretty good.

The ads have been meh to me. But I could listen to Amanda Gorman recite her poetry for hours on end. What an amazing talent.

I'm not proud but when they cut to Beavis and Butt-head in that Paramount commercial, I laughed.

Fun fact. The original logo Paramount mountain is based on Ben Lomond Mountain in Ogden, UT.

Home of Weber State and Harold "The Show" Arceneaux who led an upset of UNC about 20 years ago in the tourney.

Thread-jack: The mountains east of Ogden are some of the most underrated in the world, IMO. Even in Utah, all the love goes to those that frame the Salt Lake Valley (Olympus, in particular), or Timpanogos or Nebo in Utah Valley. Ben Lomond rarely gets any love.

My father’s and daughter’s alma mater. And Ron Abbeglen coached that team. His son was, for a time, the head pro at my home course (Carbon Country Club).

Pretty uninspired so far. GM Will Ferrell was painful
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Excellent! I am in NC but my company is in SLC and I went to Ghana with some folks from Weber State in 2015.

Jason Alexander ad for the win. Nice touch with the George isn’t at home music.

Between that and Beavis and Butthead, middle aged guys like me seem to be the target audience...

What is there not to be proud of about that?

The Show played JUCO ball at the College of Eastern Utah in Price. Yours truly is an alum.

Agreed. I believe we've traded posts on Utah before but I lived in Ogden for a bit and hiked weekly in those mountains while we were there. The Uintas are nice, too, and not heavily visited.

Beavis and Butt-head premiered when I was 12 and rose to popularity during my early teen years. So, it was big with my people but I assume everyone else thinks its obnoxious.

Yep, although the “High Unitas” (as the “natives” call them) are not easy to access. Incredible country there, though.
