'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
It may be COVID fatigue, but it’s definitely something. Iowa State nearly beats Baylor, and Sparty upends the Illini, and this thread falls to page 3? “I cannot be everywhere at once, people. I’m in dire need of some assistance.”
"Amazing what a minute can do."
ISU's collapse was sad. I only watched the latter part of the 2nd half, but they were still up 5, traded baskets for a while and then just kinda forgot how to play basketball for about 3 minutes, in which they gave up the lead they would never recover. The announcer mentioned that to be kinda their M.O. for the season, now un-victorious in conference play.
KState, now 3-13 in the Big 12, knocked off #7 Oklahoma last night. EMAW!*
