    Ymm, Sweets

Good time of year for baked goods and other desserts.

Pumpkin cake with cream cheese icing on tap. I've been making it for decades ever since I made my mom get the recipe from my elementary school girlfriend's mom (we broke up like a week later).

Welcome lovely seasonal recipe. Particularly shopping for a good at-home apple cider donut recipe.

CBS Sunday Morning had a story on Rainbow cookies. I made these a few years ago. Not too hard, very good, VERY rich.

    Cheesecake. Key lime pie.

Don't care for "sweets." Except pecan pie.

We'll be making some pecan bars here soon. Pecan is a darn fine nut.

'tis the season for marzipan...dipped in chocolate doesn't hurt either, we get our from the old German Elk Candy Company in NYC...though it would appear that the Germans may have departed...

It is a fine nut! But how do you pronounce pecan?

As though Mr. Noonien Singh's often-deleted first name is "Peter". Though perhaps with less emphasis than Kirk gives it.

The train on the aforementioned pumpkin cake has left the station. 😃

But I’d welcome pictures if anyone has any left!
