VCU sweeps UVa 5-3, 7-5 in the regular season.
Mississippi State beats VCU 16-4 in the Starkville regional.
UVa is taking care of business vs Mississippi State in Omaha.
UVa has peaked at the right time.

No hitter through 5 innings for Virginia pitcher Griff McGarry. He's their 3rd starter with an 0-5 record, 0 saves, 6.06 ERA, but has a nasty 96-99 mph fastball.

Virginia lost to Texas 6-2 late last night in a rain-delayed game. Virginia is eliminated.
Four teams remain, with two games today that could reduce it to the final two... if an unbeaten team loses, one more game tomorrow.
NC State vs. Vanderbilt at 2 pm ET and Miss. State vs. Texas at 7 pm ET. NC State and Miss. State are unbeaten thus far.

The Pack has to face Kumar Rocker today at 2 pm. Two years ago Duke had Vandy on the brink of elimination in the Super Regional and then Freshman Mr. Rocker saved their butt by tossing a no-hitter. Go Pack!
