I believe Howard is already in.
How great would it be if Duke hosted the Brotherhood Classic for Social Justice and invited teams coached by former Duke players?
Howard - Kenny Blakeney
ASU - Bobby Hurley
Marquette - Wojo
Northwestern - Chris Collins
UCF - Johnny Dawkins
Pitt - Jeff Capel
Probably not going to happen but that would be a stacked tournament!
I believe Howard is already in.
You got something against Tommy Amaker and the Duke of the North?
“Coach said no 3s.” - Zion on The Block
I mentioned this possibility on the podcast a few days ago: https://cms.megaphone.fm/channel/duk...=VMP6577787789 Sam said that the winner of the tourney would face the Utah Jazz for the Duke Family Championship. Ha!
I don't think it will happen the way you envision it because Duke and Pitt won't want to be in the same tourney. Plus, K really does not enjoy facing his former assistants/players.
As for the notion of Tommy and Harvard, the speculation among many college hoops experts is that the Ivy will be one of the last leagues to approve play during the pandemic and it may not play at all until there is a vaccine. Athletics are a very minor part of what goes on at those schools.
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?

'When I got on the bus for my first road game at Duke, I saw that every player was carrying textbooks or laptops. I coached in the SEC for 25 years, and I had never seen that before, not even once.' - David Cutcliffe to Duke alumni in Washington, DC, June 2013
Knowing Duke, I am sure there would plenty of concrete plans, including things like establishing scholarships or financial aid packages or something like that. Lots of smart people at Duke who can make sure it matters... K and Co usually don’t go in for meaningless gestures
