RIP Ronald Bell of Kool & The Gang

Ronald Bell, one of the founders of Kool & The Gang and the songwriter for many of their songs died today, age 68. Our local newscaster noted that it was not often that the song Celebration is played when he is discussing a death, but in this case it was appropriate.

I went to high school with the children of several members of the band but did not know them well.
