Dukies on the 2021 PGA and LPGA Tours

And Leona McGuire is stilled tied for 1st place at the Meijer LPGA Classic in Michigan at 11 under par (after 8 holes in her second round). Would be great to see two Dukies win in the same week (a long shot, I realize).

Even better than that, she’s currently leading her fellow Dukie - Lindy Duncan by 1. Duncan finished at 11 under and Leona at -12.

A good day for Streelman. He shot -3 (68) and is currently T4. Some afternoon golfers will pass him but Kevin has put himself in great position for the weekend.

It was great seeing Kevin out there in person today. Outside of the big groups, it was very easy to get around the course and get great views of the action. I was at the 17th green what Streels almost knocked in his chip for birdie. We followed the group to the 18th tee and he absolutely bombed his drive, setting up a birdie to take momentum into tomorrow.

He was very gracious on the course and had more people following him than I expected.

Streelman isn't flashy and doesn't get a lot of publicity. But by all accounts he's one of the classiest players on the tour and one of the most popular. It's great to see him getting some recognition at this point in his career.

Streelman has been incredibly consistent today... pars on every hole through 10. I've watched the TV coverage off/on and haven't seen him yet. He's still at -2, 3 shots off the lead in T5.
