Who knew that Duncan Robinson would become an NBA stud? Seriously?

My solution to this so-called three point shot issue: play better defense on the shooters!
When I was in high school I could consistently make 6 or 7 out of ten and often made 9 out of 10. At the age of 61, I can probably still make about 4 to 5 out of 10, which means it is too. fricken. easy.

    Period. End of discussion.

Playing better D on the corner three is nice to say, but doesn't change the fact that the shot is inherently unfair because it is too easy.

I always wondered why the 3-point line was not an arc of equal distance from the basket that would start and end at the sidelines... Then, no "corner-3".

We thought the same thing about Bill Chamberlain (UNC, 1969-1972).

    Some things never change.

I see Chris Paul is still good at punching dudes in the nuts.

Doris Burke remembered him doing that in the ACC. Stay classy, Chris. Even though I am glad Harden lost.

Wait, he did it again? He's already a repeat offender (Julius Hodge, plus at least one other victim in the NBA, maybe 2).

Yup. Not as bad as I recall the last one being but he did it. He got called for a foul but he was acting like “nutting to see here...”

Seems pretty fair as long as there are corners on both ends of the court.

Paul quote: “I tried to get by him,” he said. “It was incidental. I know when I did it on purpose, that was in college. That was a long time ago. I checked on Ben, he said he was fine. I know Mike. He's gonna get mad, he's gonna yell and scream."

I can’t remember him admitting the college incidents were on purpose before...very ballsy of him all these years later.

Speaking of which, that some tough ASU on ASU crime the way that Lu Dort is locking up Harden. That kid is an incredible defender. I know he only had him for a year, but Bobby must be beaming having him as an example of the ASU NBA family. He's also another "Team Canada Sleeping Giant" candidate.

My question is: why did Portland have Gary Trent Jr guarding Lebron? LbJ is quite a bit taller, stronger, and GTj does not have a strong defensive reputation. Does Portland really have no one else they can put on LbJ?
