Elliot Williams- where is he?

I randomly thought of him as I was a big fan of the short time Duke had him. When I went to social media- instagram and twitter, it appears after 2016 he dropped off the face of the earth after saying goodbye to Panathinaikos in the Euro league. I know he was waved by the Warriors after having knee surgery, but then dropped off the map.

Drafted in 2010 (#22), he played five seasons in the NBA. Sat out first season (knee); missed much of second season (shoulder). Played for six different teams. 109 games and 537 points in career.

I dunno where he is now. He last played pro ball in Greece -- a few games in the 2015-16 season. He signed with the Warriors but was waived October 20, 2016.

Yes, two knee surgeries and an achilles surgery cost him 3 full seasons from 2010 through 2017, and completely destroyed his career. He has been out of pro ball since the last knee surgery.

The bigger question the OP had I think though was that he's completely fallen off the face of the map. No Twitter or Instagram activity since about the time that his career ended.

Maybe since he stopped being on the national (NBA) scene he just decided to reduce his social media presence?

Williams was a great defender on that 09 team. Shame the young man has had so many injuries to deal with.

Not everybody has Twitter/Facebook, and sometimes people who have it decide after a while that it is not the way they want to spend their time. I guess I wouldn't say somebody without a social media presence has "dropped off the map." Talk to me when there are no credit card transactions for a long period of time.

Speaking of guys that have disappeared, I haven't seen hide nor hair of Casey Sanders. Does anyone have an update?
