https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...041653099.htmlGrant Imahara, one of the hosts of the popular Discovery series MythBusters, has died following a brain aneurysm, according to The Hollywood Reporter; he was 49 years old.
He was amazing. I loved the enthusiasm that all of the MythBuster folks brought to the show, but he was so cool to watch with all his robotic additions to the projects.
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
A bad loss, for sure. He was a favorite of mine. He could pretty much make amything he wanted from scratch. Such an enviable skill.
Seemed like a genuinely nice guy, too, and clearly extremely smart.
Great show. Very sad. I liked it better when they all worked as a team. In later years Adam and Jamie were the "A" team and the the others were the "B" team, and they did projects independently. Before it came to an end they jettisoned team B. Had a TV crush on early welder Scottie. I guess she didn't have a big enough personality when the show became a hit.
