As expected, Duke does not have one of the top 25 recruiting classes, but to add insult to injury five ACC teams are in the top 15.

We can hope for transfers. The women BB players have always been less hesitant to transfer. With players no longer having to sit out a year, we can at least hope for a quick infusion of talent. We won't know about that until next Spring, however.

Class of 2022 is the emphasis.

Look for Duke to hit the grad-student-transfer market hard spring 2021. A short-term fix but a necessary one given the context others have elaborated on upthread.

Just as long as we can survive the season without reviving the "tractor offense" debate I will be happy. May have to relocate it to the Duke Football thread as it is.

After all these years, I still have no idea what a "tractor offense" is. I'm not sure FDA ever truly explained it.

And hopefully keep all the players who are already on board. Loss of top talent was a big factor in McCallie's last few years.

You must spread some Comments around before commenting on uh_no again.

Probably not the actual origin of the term, but very funny.

    Ha!
Curious because at least we have an idea of when the men are starting even though we don't know who we're playing yet.

I agree. I also predict we'll see multiple versions of schedules as infection clusters happen.

Thanks for the updates! By the time Ms. Bollin plays for us, I hope we'll be able to actually go and watch the games in person!

Someday you will have to explain how they played basketball in a bubble, which doesn’t even sound possible.

The more I see of Coach Lawson, the more I am convinced she will win a National Championship at Duke.
