My understanding of trademark law is that you weaken your position for any future infringements if you don't enforce your trademark, so, in order to protect the Iron Duke trademark, Duke has to enforce it this time. True? I'm not signing this petition, btw, I think Duke is 100% in the right and I'm only sorry this small company didn't get good legal advice at the beginning before they'd sunk a bunch of money into a trademark that was already taken.
