Nice find but, hard pass on that one, though I could be convinced with a good beer float recipe ...

Rats. That's one of my specialties, but I don't have the time or ingredients to produce this today. May have to delay my celebration to the weekend. It's always a good excuse to break out a great Sauternes to go with it, too.

Well, tomorrow is National Milk Chocolate Day; perhaps you could have a chocolate crème brulee this weekend...

Removes the Sauternes excuse, though, so there's a downside to that...

I was stunned and disappointed to learn that The Cheesecake Factory is not, in fact, a factory.

    True. It's just a restaurant.

I've not had those, but all I can say is, Alex would have to be mighty good to even match the cheesecakes made by Mrs. Phredd3. Sadly for the rest of the world, hers are not for sale, so feel free to grab some from Alex.

I'm the cook in our family, but the one exception is, my wife makes the cheesecake. I'll bet you a pie hers are better.

Well, not a food day today but still worthy of a holiday.

The website features a "Pilgrim's" hat but I guess a dunce hat would work well, too.

I am glad the article had a helpful section on how to enjoy the holiday. I’ve only ever used them for shoe insoles.
