can there be a humorous crime?

with all the ugly stuff happening in the world, I was nearly gratified to read in today's paper about a local interstate crime spree...one Christoph Herrmannsdoerfer (great name) of Williamstown, MA was driving thru southern VT when he wantonly and willfully hurled a "large pickle" at a Vermont highway worker, causing him "pain." Thanks to the quick action of the Williamstown police force, the alleged perp was apprehended.

I ask all of our legal eagles how the law applies to carrying a lethal pickle across state lines for use in a crime, assuming it was bought in Massachusetts. And can the driver also be held responsible?

The whole thing just doesn't sound kosher.

If a friend of mine did that, it’d be dillbreaker.

Thanks I needed this. My coffee is all over my keyboard.

He is in quite a "pickle". (Does this count as a pun.)

Not an i-dill outcome for Mr. Herrmannsdoerfer.

I bet he's hoping there's a Claussen the laws that will help him avoid prosecution.
